6 year old child from Africa – a case of Portal Hypertension with recurrent upper GI bleed with Anemia.
Diagnosis confirmed as Extra Hepatic Portal Hypertension. Endoscopy done after blood transfusion and stabilization. Large Esophageal varices noted which were tackled with EVL (Endoscopic Variceal Ligation) along with other supportive measures.
